MAKERS
Makers bring the Creators’ concept and vision to realization using their innate craftsmanship. Additive Manufacturing is The Maker in 21st Century Industry 4.0 paradigm. To accurately reflect the creator’s concept and vision, the Makers must understand the very thought process of the creators and collaborate with the Creators.
For over 20 years, 3DPD has been the pioneer and one of the earliest Makers in India. Today, 3DPD is one of the leading Makers Globally.
BUILDERS
The Builders build monuments which stand the test of times. The Industry 4.0 Builder of products utilizes an efficient ecosystem of technologies and takes up the ownership of the product’s quality and speed of delivery.
3DPD has established such an efficient ecosystem of manufacturing technologies to deliver complete products to its customers, with the highest degree of care for precision, finish, functionality, and repeatability.
Key Personnel
Dr. Mukesh Agarwala Is an Entrepreneur, Scientist, Consultant, Author, and distinguished Speaker at many forums. Dr. Agarwala is the Managing Director of 3D Product Development, a private Indian entity he founded in the year 2000. The company provides hi-quality engineering services and strategic consulting in 3D Printing / Additive Manufacturing. Through his company, Dr. Agarwala has provided engineering services to over 500 organizations in India. For the past 30+ years, Dr. Agarwala has focused his education, research, and practice on design, prototyping and materials processing. He has authored more than 50 articles and technical papers and has been awarded 5 patents on Materials and Additive Manufacturing.
Dr. Agarwala is an alumni of Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, India and has a Bachelor’s Degree in Metallurgical Engineering and also has a Ph.D. in Materials Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin, specializing in 3D Printing Processes and Materials.
Mr. Vikash Agarwal With over 29+ years of industry experience in the fields of Business Management Consulting, Information Technology and Product Development in Manufacturing, Mr. Vikash Agarwala (Director for Business Development, Operations Management & Finance) has been astutely managing 3DPD’s business operations and made it on par with world-class companies. An Information Technology Professional with MBA from Purdue University (USA), Vikash has been responsible for Company’s diversification and growth in Metal additive manufacturing and Metal manufacturing business.
Mr. M Thiagarajan A Industry veteran in metallurgy with over 50+ years of experience in the field of investment castings,
Mr. Thiagarajan is the Technical Director at 3DPD, prior to 3DPD he was the Managing Director at Omnicast Cuddalore.
An alumnus of IIT Madras, his expertise in casting processes and metallurgy has been instrumental in 3DPD diversifying and emerging as India’s leading Metal casting Prototyping Company.
Mr. Krishna Mishra with over 15+ years of experience in Additive Manufacturing Services, Injection mould design and Tooling, Mr. Krishna Mishra is the Plant Head at 3DPD’s Pune Branch.
With an educational background in Plastic Moulding technology and Design, Krishna has been instrumental in carrying out highly challenging projects by major automotive clientele and has received special recognition awards for his work in the past 10 years at 3DPD.
Mr. Prashanth Raju with 13+ years of industry experience in tool room and forging industry, Mr. Prashant Raju is the Plant Head at 3DPD Bangalore. In his 9+ years with 3DPD, he has demonstrated excellent technical expertise and has rapidly grown to the Plant Head level.
